About Us

We are a small family run pub, which we endeavour to keep as clean & tidy as possible. There is a small conservatory dining area at the rear of the pub, where we serve traditional pub fayre & also a few of our own specialities. The bar is stocked with six real ales as well as lagers, ciders, Guinness & craft ales. Our wines are sourced from all over the world, all available by the glass and the bottle. We have an extensive Gin collection with tonics to match. Scotch Corner houses the single malts, alongside our delicious spirit bar with lots of choices, including rums & flavoured vodkas. When the sun shines you can sit all day & well into the evening in the beer gardens, at the front & rear of the pub. New in 2019 is a BBQ in the rear beer garden, which will be in use(hopefully) throughout the summer months. There is also a small car park. Dogs are not allowed inside the pub, but are welcome in the outside areas.

Filey

Filey is renowned for its miles of glorious sandy beaches stretching from Filey Brigg to the RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs to the south, the beach is ideal for building sand castles or for the more artistic, sand sculptures or dig out your kites and let them fly.

You will find Fishing, Sailing, Tennis, Bowling and Golf all close by or bring your boots and walk the walks.

Filey is a quiet sea side resort ideal for families and people who want a quiet relaxing holiday. For those of you wishing to dine in the area, there are local pubs and restaurants to cater for every taste within walking distance. We are also ideally situated for ramblers walking the famous Wolds Way and Cleveland Way.

If you want an active holiday, take the beautiful views of Filey Bay with Filey Brigg to the north and Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough Head further down the coast or just quietly relax in the peaceful unspoilt surroundings, Filey can meet your needs. Within a short distance are Scarborough and Whitby to the north and Bridlington to the south.
